Welcome to My Blog

Woman wrestler Christie RicciOne of the best things I have experienced in over 8 years of wrestling is traveling the world and meeting fans from different places. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know the fans.

Searching for a medium that would allow better communication with more of my fans, I came to the conclusion that a blog is the best way to go.

I am hoping that the topics will range from professional wrestling to politics to family. I love being a professional wrestler, but there is much more to me than that. This will be an opportunity to get to know me on a more personal level as well.

I may not get to meet you at a local show or get into long email conversations with everyone who emails me, but I do hope that this blog will give everyone a place to inject their opinions and become a fun place where we can all communicate.

I will do my best to keep you updated on what I'm up to and will share experiences and anecdotes from my work with the many different promotions I have been involved with over the years.

Your questions are more than welcome, and I am really looking forward to answering them.

I am very excited about this blog, so let the fun begin…

Hugs and headlocks...

  1. Hello Christie;
I like this idea has you say it will be an enjoyable way to get to know you & you to know your fans.

Well if I may I'd like to start this blog out by asking a few questions about you.

1st)On Your Website your bio says that you were a bit of a TOMB BOY, I'm really curious what kinda of music the present day Tomb boy likes to party or maybe even when your training lol

2nd) also interested in if your the one whose doing the designs for your website & blog, in other words how would you classify yourself in the modern computor Techy SCALE ? ?

  2. I think this definitely worth a try. I really miss the message board on your web site, but I'm game for this.

  3. Drew,

A bit of a tomboy is an under statement. I was a TOTAL tomboy. I only wanted to be out doors either fishing, riding four wheelers, or riding horses. At the age of 7, my mother gave me a manicure set for my nails, and I used the finger nail file to dig up earthworms so that I could fish with them.

As far as my music taste, this varies. I enjoy everything from modern rock to old school country. I’m not too big of a fan of contemporary pop! While I am working out, many things keep me entertained. My ipod has everything from Pantera to Johnny Cash.

As far as the tech question, I am not “TECHY” whatsoever. Friends have helped with the designs, so nothing is really done professionally. I wish I could sit down and learn how to become a technical wiz, but I doubt this will ever happen. If you know anyone that wants to give some lessons, let me know ;-)

  4. I like your BLOG, Mississippi Queen. I'm not sure about the DARK color. How bout something more uplifting like blue? Harry the Fan

  5. Harry the Fan,

I'm glad you like the blog. As for the colors, we are just trying to keep the layout similar to my website, but hopefully the blogs, pictures and videos will be uplifting!

  6. Hi Mike,

I thought there was way too much spam on the message board, so hopefully this will not have the same result. Also, in the message board, I wasn't very active in messaging. With this medium, I hope to be very active with messaging!

  8. Hi Christie

Just wanted to say HI & that I'm glad you're back in action again. I also wanted to thank you for the boxing custom you & Helena did for me earlier this year. (Don't think I ever said "thank you", sorry about that.)

Look forward to seeing you in action soon.

  9. Good evening, Christie.

First, your blog is working on all cylinders.

Second, I have enjoyed seeing you in action, even if it's mostly in clips, or some still photos. I can't wait for your next match, or matches.

Third, what are your favorite or most used pro wrestling moves?

ONE MORE THING: I have a handicap custom match order in my pipeline that I hope to send to you sometime in the new year, or before this one ends.

    Take care.

    Anonymous,

Honestly, I didn't enjoy doing reality type television. The Stallionare's were great, and very interesting people, and a joy to work with, but probably will not do more of these shows unless there is a season 3! Reality television is more of a southern California thing. When I lived there, it was easy to audition for these shows because they were so close. Now that I am no longer living in southern Cal, I probably won't be auditioning for these shows any longer. Currently, I am just concentrating on my wrestling projects, and my businessess!!

    Ed,

I consider myself a technical wrestler, so my most favorite moves would be fancy holds! I enjoy creating new ways to transition into arm bars, which happen to be my most favorite moves because they are so painful, lol!

  12. Great to see you putting up a blog.
Would love to know how you are spending your time in Hawaai. For example, how are you keeping in shape and condition?
Have the feeling that when you return to the bottom 48 in 2010 you will not resume wrestling. You are a very intelligent, educated woman. As you indicate, you have spent many years in college honing your mind.
It would seem to me you would want to build a career around what you learned in school.

  13. Hi Christie,

WOW! You certainly had a busy year, and lots to look forward to next year as well. So enjoy the sun and get your rest while you can! I hadn't heard of Wrestlicious (that spelling doesn't look quite right), but am excited to see it and hope if makes it to the tube. Sounds sort of like a modern day GLOW, but hopefully more wrestling and less skits. the "all American gal" is the perfect persona for you, and I always thought that was your calling (despite the ink). Hope you draped yourself in red, white and blue.

If there is any news on your new promotions, like ways to see it or read about them, please post on your blog. Thanks again for sharing and stay beautiful!

    All the best,
    Mr. Chain
