Producing Matches

Women wrestler Christie Ricci produces custom ladies wrestling videos
I enjoy producing all matches, as long as I am getting to do what I love and that is wrestle.

There are a few type of matches that really stand out in my mind.

The first one that comes to my mind is a piledriver match between myself, April Hunter and Talia Madison.

I don’t like taking piledrivers, but this scripted match was so much fun because of the interesting story line.

The premise of the story line was that Talia and I were old volleyball teammates, and she stole my boyfriend in high school, and my spandex shorts, lol!

It sounds corny, but I love matches that have a story line to them!

In addition, some of my most favorite matches are the ones where I face Tasha Simone. Tasha is such an epic heel, and I feel that we always have so much chemistry when wrestling each other.

Amber O’neal is another favorite of mine. Amber’s air head sense of humor cracks me up, so I know I will get a good laugh whenever we wrestle each other. If you haven’t had a chance to meet Amber O’neal, she is a riot and probably my best friend in the business.

My most favorite Amber story took place at the Wrestlicious filming.
After three days of filming, we had our final show. After the show, the entire cast went to eat dinner.

I left before Amber and realized that I left my cell phone in the dressing room. I called Amber from a friend’s phone and asked her to look in the dressing room for my cell phone. Amber promised she would look for it, and bring it to dinner if she found it.

An hour later, Amber arrived at the restaurant, and handed me my phone. I noticed three missed text messages, so I started reading them.

All three messages were from Amber. The first text message said, “hey girl, I found your phone.” The second text message said, “hey girl, will you save me a seat at the dinner table.” The final text message said, “hey girl, are you mad at me? You are not responding to my text messages.” I still laugh at this today!

Only in Amber’s world!!!

In conclusion, I don’t have a specific kind of match that is my favorite. My favorite matches are the ones with fun story lines, and with people who make me laugh and enjoy wrestling. I am looking forward to making many more of them.

Have you ever wondered about bringing your own favorite type of match to life? My production company, Posh Productions, offers top quality custom matches at very reasonable prices. Leave a comment below and I will be sure to get right back to you.

Here's hoping that everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Hug and Headlocks...

  1. I love the matches you and Tasha have. Just the right combo of sex appeal, technical work and violence put your rivalry up there with the classics going back to when I first started watching back in 1971. I wish more promoters realized what a hot bit of merchandise you gals can put on.

  3. You have done 3 boxing videos that i have heard about. You have done 2 boxing matches with a man from hit the mat productions and then did a boxing match with a female on your website. It was always very rare when you did boxing videos but you always seem to me that you enjoyed boxing in videos.

  4. Thanks Mike,

I have to give all the credit of those matches to Tasha. She is a classic heel, and I enjoy learning from her. Not only do I enjoy learning from her, but I also wrestling from her. She is a real pro!

  6. Hi, Christie.

I have not seen the full videos of your matches with Tasha, but I have seen some of the still photos, and they are memorable indeed. Reading your posts about them makes sure I can't wait to see them.

As for bringing my favorite kind of match to life, I have several custom match/scripted match drafts, and one of them involves you. I wrote it two months and going on 2 days ago, it's a handicap match with you vs. Helen Cat and Rain, with you winning. The match involves my favorite women's pro wrestling move, the power bomb.

The one clip I saw of you applying the power bomb was from S.K., when you and Jackson were double teaming Anne-Marie, and in the second clip, you power bombed her good and hard. The match did NOT end there, but that's OK, the match doesn't HAVE to end there, it just has to have a power bomb in it.

Thank women's pro wrestling legend Judy Martin for the power bomb being my favorite women's pro wrestling move. You, Judy, along with Devil Masami, Jumbo Hori, Suzuka Minami, Fantasia, Sara Del Rey, Lexie Fyfe, and/or any other past or present woman wrestler, have execute/executed this move particularly well, no, BETTER, than the men, not to name any names here.

It's always amazing, and fantastic, to see a woman wrestler pull and lift another woman wrestler up in the air, and then drive her down to the mat hard on her back.

I plan to send you that script sometime next year, or before this year ends, so be on the lookout for it.

  7. Ms Ricci
It is now several months since the birth of your daughter, a wonderful new milestone in your life. I'm sure all your fans would love to see you post some details on your new life as a mother. For example, are you bringing up the girl as a single mother? We would love to hear how you are able to combine motherhood with your return to wrestling.
