Producing my Own Material

I often get asked about producing own material

I do produce my own material, and plan on producing more of it in the future.

I am ready to take my producing to the next level but am waiting for the right time and place.

I see myself being the future of women’s wrestling, especially women’s wrestling video production.

As many of you know, I have a Master’s in Business.
The reason I got my MBA, is because I thought I would follow in my family’s foot steps and be a corporate executive someday.

Over the past 10 years, I have seen corporate America’s greed destroy everything my family worked so hard for. Therefore, I no longer want to have anything to do with corporate America, but I still finished my MBA because my family has always instilled the importance of education on me.
At least I know that no one can take my education away from me.

Another problem I have with corporate America is, that I discovered at a young age that it was difficult for me to work for someone. I am a go-getter, like calling the shots, and love being in control. I usually disagree with the way many things are done and hate not having much of a voice or knowing that my opinion doesn’t matter. I need and want to be heard and want things my way!

This is the reason I have become an entrepreneur. This is why I will always be an entrepreneur.

I currently own three companies, with Posh Productions being my wrestling company.
I am currently in the process of opening another business that is non-wrestling and hope to launch another wrestling company in 2010.

My first goal is to revamp my current website and get a vip section up and running! After this goal is achieved, I will start working on the next project.

Hugs and headlocks,

Christie

  1. As always, the lady's comments are incisive, enlighening and informative.
The lady seems to know precisely what she wants out of life, especially where the matter of conrol is involved.
One has to wonder, tho, if her certitude is so definite and clear, why did she, back in July decide to move to Hawaii for a year-long sabbatical where, in her own words, she would reflect on the direction her life should take?
It is reassuring to see anew her dediction to the world of wrestling. More women like her are needed if women wrestling is to live up to its potential. Her videos, reflecting her pride and dedication to quality, are without compare; all others are relegated to an also ran status. We await impatiently for her return to video production. Her Posh outfit has not shown a new video for a long, long time.
One would also like to see her specify just what she means when she says "corporate America's greed destroy everything my family worked so hard for." What family values is she talking about?
One wonders whether she is too quick to short change the merits of being a coporate exec. More and more companies each year encourage employees to develop an entrepreneurial spirit and give them the necessary autonomy to achieve that goal. At the same time, more companies become appreciative of the contributions women can make. It would seem that in such a climate a strong inner-directed woman like Ms Ricci could flourish. Food for thought. T C Taylor

  2. Best of luck to you Christie. I hope you do well, and don't get hurt from any wrestling hold. I may still do customs sometimes, and again, I'll have to see if I am able to be trained how to wrestle, at least on softer mats.
I understand what you said about corporate greed and wanting to be an entrepreneur. It's also really incredible how the politicians in Washington completely mismanage our fiscal house. We now have over a 10 trillion dollar national debt, which is the accumulation of all the budget deficits we've had. A trillion is a million millions or a thousand billions, so, obviously this is over 10 times that. It doubled this decade alone. If you did this in the private sector, you'd be thrown in jail. No wonder people are so disgusted with politics and so many don't bother to vote.
By the way, do you know the last time America was 100% debt free? 1835, yes 1835! Andrew Jackson was president. That was before the Civil War, it was before the Mexican War! Hard to believe, but it's true.
I'm sure you'll do an infinitely better job with your companies' finances.
