Frequently Asked Questions

I've often said that one of my favorite parts of wrestling is meeting & interacting with the fans.

Here are a few of the typical questions that I am asked frequently

Q. Why do you call yourself the Mississippi Queen?
A.
Well, I thought this was an appropriate name because I am from Mississippi, and I love reminding myself where I am from. It’s a bit of a humbling technique for myself. Mississippi is known for nothing spectacular, but I have some of the best memories of my childhood. So if you are going to claim something, my motto is “own it.” What better way to own something than to be the queen of it???

Q. What promotion is your favorite to work for?
A.
Currently that promotion would be Wrestlicious. For reasons, I have already mentioned!

Q. What company did you not like working for?
A.
Many people are probably going to be shocked that I am about to admit this, but the answer to this question would be WWE. About 4 years ago, I was invited to a couple shows to be looked at by the agents. This was one of the worst experiences, I had ever had. No one was welcoming. I felt so out of place and awkward. The only person that stood out in my mind, or was friendly to me was Rick Flair. Who would of thought, that one of the biggest stars would have been the most inviting? There were way too many egos in that place for me! I started wrestling because I love the sport, and I think that it should be fun! When you take the “fun” out of wrestling, then I will no longer pursue it. To me, that is what WWE did, they just take the fun out of it. I understand that WWE is a multi million dollar corporation and that it must be run like one, but it just isn’t for me.

Q. Who is your favorite wrestler of all times?
A.
There are so many that stand out in my mind. I loved watch old Japanese videos of Tiger Mask and Dynamite Kid! So these two wrestlers are definitely at the top of that list. My all time favorite female has to be Lei Lani Kai. I love the Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, and of course the Million Dollar Man.

So now I have a question for you.

What attire do you prefer to see females wearing when they wrestle? One piece? Two piece? Stockings or no stockings? Ring jackets or no ring jackets?

Hugs and headlocks...

Christie

  1. 2 piece, wrestling boots, elbow & knee pads if needed, stockings & a ring jacket.

  2. I'm a fan of both the one piece and the two piece in women's wrestling as long as it's spandex and tight.

  3. One piece or two, boots & no stockings. Ring jackets are good as well. Kind of old school but it's the first visual I had of lady wrestlers and still find most attractive.

  4. Christie,
I love the way you dress in the ring, whether you are a one peice, or two peice, you are always stunning! Also, I like the fact that you don't wear stockings, because with such great legs, it would be criminal to cover them up!

  5. Hi Christie,
I guess I prefer the two piece look. I don't really have a preference when it comes to stockings. Ring jackets are always cool, especially if they fit the character or make an entrance attire. I have a question that I guess can be viewed as a question about your attire. I've been a fan of yours for years and while looking through older pictures and videos I noticed that you used to wrestle and pose with a belly button ring in. How come the belly button ring has disappeared? Did it effect you during matches or did it just run its course, fashion wise? I know its an odd question, but its something that just caught my eye.

  8. Its not the outfit,Its the wrestler who can sell the outfit. Some ladies can walk in wearing a sack and rock it.Others can walk in barefoot all the way up on free beer night and get total silence. Her attitude is her best outfit ive seen.

  9. I prefer any women's wrestling attire that does not involve pants. I.E., leotatds or bathing suits, collegiate wrestling singlets, biketards, unitards, two piece crop top and spandex leggings, two piece crop top and bike shorts, hipster shorts, etc.

    I have some more questions.

    1. Do you like wrestling more as a heel or face?
    2. Who are your favorite wrestlers you ever work with?
    3. What is your finishing move?
    4. In your matches are you most of the time the caller of the match? You know the one to tell your opponent what to do.
5.Can you give me an example of what you whisper in your opponent ear in a match? You know wrestling communicatin?

Are you planning to regain the NWA World's Ladies' Championship from MsChif?

    Hi Malcolm,

I definitely enjoy wrestling as a baby face the most. I love the energy and charisma you must exert in order to pull off a believable and likable baby face.

I have many favorite wrestlers and for different reasons. The funnest girls to work with are Amber O'neal and Rain. I also enjoy extremely competitive match ups against girls who are 100% serious in the ring. The more competitive/serious girls I enjoy wrestling are Mercedez Martinez, Princess Sugeith from Mexico, and Tasha Simone.

I do have a finisher, I call it the "Makeover." It is just a type of modified overhead press and sit down slam.

I like matches in which we equally contribute to the overall calling of the match. I always ask my opponents what they have in mind for the match, and then we usually combine ideas.

As far as what is being whispered in opponents ears, I prefer not whispering! Psychology is important and anticipating moves of your opponents is what I prefer to do.

  15. As far as attire goes, what you're wearing in the picture in this post is great.

    Other looks:

    - a bikini and leather boots

    - T-shirt and shorts ; combat boy shorts would look good

    - what you wore in a video called Massive Destruction

  16. Congratulations on becoming a mother. Boy or girl? Does this mean you will retire from wrestling?

  17. I prefer seeing woman wrestlers in the one piece swimsuit or leotard, and the boots. The stockings are optional, but I would like to see the tights, as the British woman wrestlers wore with their one pieces, on occasion.

  18. What's your finishing move?

  19. Hi Christie,

It's me Chris Kennedy! Remember me? I was your friend on Myspace, and I'm now a fan of your fan club group! How are you my dear friend?

I read your question as to what I like to wear when I wrestle, though I never done it before and being that I'm a guy and as unique as this might sound, I would love to wear one pieces, just like the one piece leotards and swimsuits! And sometimes stockings or tights, just like a retro aerobics outfit! Infact I usually wear leotards and tights, even the suntan and nude colored tights, whenever I do aerobics!

As for two pieces, some might flatter me, perhaps with a midriff top.

On occasion, I'll wear in a headband, and/or a belt to go with my one piece. Plus leg warmers or slouch socks and the like. And boots or sneakers. Whoa, so many combinations I can wear!

Bless you always Christie! I hope 2012 brings you nothing but the best in life! And congratulations on being a mother! Take care and I look forward to touching base with you again!
