It's a Girl!!!

Hey Guys,

As many of you may have heard, I have recently given birth to a precious baby girl.

I really appreciate all of the emails and posts regarding her arrival. This has become a very special time in my life that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I decided to concentrate on my new family for the first few weeks of her life to establish our unit, and get acquainted to motherhood. Therefore, I haven't blogged or responded to any posts or returned any emails in the last few weeks.

I am in the process of catching up, but being a mommy consumes most of my time, so the process is a little slower than I thought it would be. As for my plans, I will be wrestling very soon.

On March 27, Lollipop and I have decided to hold our first custom shoot together in many years. I'm so excited to get back into the ring!!! So thanks to all you have supported me during this time, and I am really looking forward to the future and the next chapter of my life!

Christie vs. Rain

This is one of my most favorite custom matches. Rain is also one of my most favorite female wrestlers. She is intense and knowledgeable, our in ring chemistry is undeniable in my opinion. If anyone ever ask for my recommendation on a match to purchase that has a lot of technical wrestling and hard-hitting action, this is the one I suggest.

The reason I enjoy this match so much is because it was a fast paced, that doesn't at all feel like a custom match. Sometimes, custom matches are slow paced. I know that many custom script writers enjoy seeing holds applied for extended periods of time, but in my opinion this leads to a very slow match tempo. And obviously, I love fast paced, action filled matches.

Another reason I enjoy this match so much is because of my opponent. Not only do Rain and I have great in ring chemistry, but I also love Rain's attitude and willingness to do any move. Some of my most favorite moves are n this match, including a flying neck breaker, a tornado ddt, and many exciting moves.

So why was this match different from other custom scripts? Well first of all, the script writer to this match was Steve Egan. Steve gave Rain and I the option to create most of the match ourselves, as long as we included a few of his favorite moves. This type of custom match is actually my most favorite to wrestle in and to produce. I thoroughly enjoy having the freedom to organize the match for custom scripts. The reason I enjoy this freedom is because a good match entails much psychology. Match psychology is hard to incorporate into scripted matches, so allowing the match to flow at the discretion of the professionals usually leads to a better flowing match.
Woman Wrestler Christie Ricci Sound good to you? This match, along with many other women's wrestling matches are available for purchase on my website Christiericci.net

As for the ring attire, one pieces have become my most favorite wrestling outfit. Not only are one pieces comfortable, but they also stay in place. So many times, I am distracted in a match by my outfit or my opponents, so wearing a one piece is one less worry during a match. Another reason one pieces are one of my favorite is because they were worn by the old school pros, and as many know, I am a huge fan of the old school women.

So now that you know my most favorite custom match of all times on my site, I would like to know some of the fan favorites!

Frequently Asked Questions

I've often said that one of my favorite parts of wrestling is meeting & interacting with the fans.

Here are a few of the typical questions that I am asked frequently

Q. Why do you call yourself the Mississippi Queen?
A.
Well, I thought this was an appropriate name because I am from Mississippi, and I love reminding myself where I am from. It’s a bit of a humbling technique for myself. Mississippi is known for nothing spectacular, but I have some of the best memories of my childhood. So if you are going to claim something, my motto is “own it.” What better way to own something than to be the queen of it???

Q. What promotion is your favorite to work for?
A.
Currently that promotion would be Wrestlicious. For reasons, I have already mentioned!

Q. What company did you not like working for?
A.
Many people are probably going to be shocked that I am about to admit this, but the answer to this question would be WWE. About 4 years ago, I was invited to a couple shows to be looked at by the agents. This was one of the worst experiences, I had ever had. No one was welcoming. I felt so out of place and awkward. The only person that stood out in my mind, or was friendly to me was Rick Flair. Who would of thought, that one of the biggest stars would have been the most inviting? There were way too many egos in that place for me! I started wrestling because I love the sport, and I think that it should be fun! When you take the “fun” out of wrestling, then I will no longer pursue it. To me, that is what WWE did, they just take the fun out of it. I understand that WWE is a multi million dollar corporation and that it must be run like one, but it just isn’t for me.

Q. Who is your favorite wrestler of all times?
A.
There are so many that stand out in my mind. I loved watch old Japanese videos of Tiger Mask and Dynamite Kid! So these two wrestlers are definitely at the top of that list. My all time favorite female has to be Lei Lani Kai. I love the Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, and of course the Million Dollar Man.

So now I have a question for you.

What attire do you prefer to see females wearing when they wrestle? One piece? Two piece? Stockings or no stockings? Ring jackets or no ring jackets?

Producing my Own Material

I often get asked about producing own material

I do produce my own material, and plan on producing more of it in the future.

I am ready to take my producing to the next level but am waiting for the right time and place.

I see myself being the future of women’s wrestling, especially women’s wrestling video production.

As many of you know, I have a Master’s in Business.
The reason I got my MBA, is because I thought I would follow in my family’s foot steps and be a corporate executive someday.

Over the past 10 years, I have seen corporate America’s greed destroy everything my family worked so hard for. Therefore, I no longer want to have anything to do with corporate America, but I still finished my MBA because my family has always instilled the importance of education on me.
At least I know that no one can take my education away from me.

Another problem I have with corporate America is, that I discovered at a young age that it was difficult for me to work for someone. I am a go-getter, like calling the shots, and love being in control. I usually disagree with the way many things are done and hate not having much of a voice or knowing that my opinion doesn’t matter. I need and want to be heard and want things my way!

This is the reason I have become an entrepreneur. This is why I will always be an entrepreneur.

I currently own three companies, with Posh Productions being my wrestling company.
I am currently in the process of opening another business that is non-wrestling and hope to launch another wrestling company in 2010.

My first goal is to revamp my current website and get a vip section up and running! After this goal is achieved, I will start working on the next project.

Parlez Vous Piledriver?

I get many requests for custom matches that concentrate on piledrivers.

Over the years, my number one custom match writer of piledrivers would have to be my friend Tim.

The piledriver clip below is from a custom match filmed with Sleeper Kid. It is another one of Tim's scripts.

Though I don't enjoy piledrivers, I thoroughly enjoyed this match.

It was an extremely fun match, and one of the main reasons I enjoyed it is because it wasn't a traditional match in a ring.

As I have mentioned before, I hate taking piledrivers but I somehow manage to take mulitple piledrivers for Tim.

Whenever the degree of difficulty of a match is increased with dangerous moves, I always feel very accomplished after the match if no one is injured.

I know that there are many fans of piledrivers, so I have a couple questions.

  • Why do you piledriver fans enjoy seeing this move executed?
  • What are some other moves that you really enjoy seeing??

Enjoy the piledriver clip below. Many of you have been asking me for piledriver footage and the video montage is for you!!!

Remember, you too can bring your wrestling fantasy to life with a custom video of your own.

Leave a comment about it and I will be sure to get back to you.

In honor of the clip below, allow me a one-time modification of my traditional tag line....

Producing Matches

Women wrestler Christie Ricci produces custom ladies wrestling videos
I enjoy producing all matches, as long as I am getting to do what I love and that is wrestle.

There are a few type of matches that really stand out in my mind.

The first one that comes to my mind is a piledriver match between myself, April Hunter and Talia Madison.

I don’t like taking piledrivers, but this scripted match was so much fun because of the interesting story line.

The premise of the story line was that Talia and I were old volleyball teammates, and she stole my boyfriend in high school, and my spandex shorts, lol!

It sounds corny, but I love matches that have a story line to them!

In addition, some of my most favorite matches are the ones where I face Tasha Simone. Tasha is such an epic heel, and I feel that we always have so much chemistry when wrestling each other.

Women's wrestling videos at christiericci.net

Amber O’neal is another favorite of mine. Amber’s air head sense of humor cracks me up, so I know I will get a good laugh whenever we wrestle each other. If you haven’t had a chance to meet Amber O’neal, she is a riot and probably my best friend in the business.

My most favorite Amber story took place at the Wrestlicious filming.
After three days of filming, we had our final show. After the show, the entire cast went to eat dinner.

I left before Amber and realized that I left my cell phone in the dressing room. I called Amber from a friend’s phone and asked her to look in the dressing room for my cell phone. Amber promised she would look for it, and bring it to dinner if she found it.

An hour later, Amber arrived at the restaurant, and handed me my phone. I noticed three missed text messages, so I started reading them.

All three messages were from Amber. The first text message said, “hey girl, I found your phone.” The second text message said, “hey girl, will you save me a seat at the dinner table.” The final text message said, “hey girl, are you mad at me? You are not responding to my text messages.” I still laugh at this today!

Only in Amber’s world!!!

In conclusion, I don’t have a specific kind of match that is my favorite. My favorite matches are the ones with fun story lines, and with people who make me laugh and enjoy wrestling. I am looking forward to making many more of them.

Have you ever wondered about bringing your own favorite type of match to life? My production company, Posh Productions, offers top quality custom matches at very reasonable prices. Leave a comment below and I will be sure to get right back to you.

Here's hoping that everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
